Characteristics of courgettes

Courgettes are generally cylindrical, although they can also be shaped as follows more rounded. The cultivation process of our courgettes takes into account the characteristics of climate, temperature, soil and amount of light.

The cultivation of courgettes in the Huerta de Pancha starts with the preparation of the soil.The soil should be watered carefully so that it retains water. Care should be taken to ensure that the soil is maintained. moist, but not waterlogged.

Weed control is an essential step in the care of our crops. We eliminate the weeds so that the courgette can receive the adequate sunlight and water. In this process, the courgette plants that are susceptible to diseases or pests.

Finally, we carry out the harvesting process by hand, always selecting the best specimens and discarding those that are not at the optimum point for consumption.

How to preserve courgettes

This vegetable keeps for quite a long time without the need to do anything. Also, if you have started it and you see that the first slice has become ugly or wrinkled, it is enough to remove that first slice to see that the courgette is still perfectly fine.
