The red potato is sown in the fields of the Axarquia region of Malaga in small areas. It is a versatile potato in the kitchen, ideal for stews or for preparing purées. Being manual extraction and not passing them through potato washing machines, they can be dirty with dirt.

NEW RED POTATO.

The red potato, like the rest of our products, is grown in La Huerta de Pancha. This medium-sized, oval-shaped, red-skinned tuber is carefully harvested one by one. Buying red potatoes direct from the farmer at La Huerta de Pancha is a guarantee.

Potatoes are a staple food in the Mediterranean diet. The red potato is a versatile variety mostly used in stews.

Enjoy now our potato, direct vegetables from the farmer at home.

POTATOES PACKAGING FROM THE HUERTA DE PANCHA

We pack it in a 100% recyclable cardboard box to which we put a lid and the necessary protections so that it suffers as little as possible during transport.

CONSERVATION OF POTATOES FROM THE HUERTA DE PANCHA

Red potatoes are harvested in early spring. If they are kept in suitable conditions, they can retain their nutritional and organoleptic properties for several weeks.

  • Once you receive your potatoes, keep them in a cool and dry place. To prevent early germination, avoid total darkness or light. Neither should you pile them up too much or mix them with other fruits.
  • Remember to remove those potatoes that are in poor condition so that the others do not spoil

Red Potato’s properties

  • They are a source of energy for the proper functioning of our body thanks to its high content of carbohydrates.
  • Helps fight high blood pressure by being rich in potassium.
