How you will receive apricots from Huerta de Pancha’s orchard

Our apricots are harvested at their optimum point. This point, in the case of apricots, does not coincide with the point of ripening. In other words, they have to wait a few days before they can be eaten. These apricots keep all their natural flavour as they do not go through cold storage.

The apricots are packed in plastic tubs to prevent them from spoiling when in contact with other fruit and vegetables and to avoid damage during transport. We always strive for quality for the customer and that all our fruit arrives in the best condition and with the highest quality.

How to preserve apricots

To keep your apricots fresh, first let them ripen at room temperature. Once ripe, store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. It is important to keep them separate from other fruits to avoid damage and over-ripening. Placing them in a ventilated container or paper bag will allow air circulation and help prevent moisture build-up. With this care, your apricots will stay fresh and delicious for longer.

How to consume apricots

You can consume fresh apricots by simply washing them and eating them whole. You can also cut them up and add them to salads, yoghurt or cereals. Another option is to use them in smoothies, jams or desserts. Dried apricots are also an excellent healthy snack.
