We meet Juan Ávila, CEO of La Huerta de Pancha.

Audiovisual communication has become part of the communication strategy of many companies, including La Huerta de Pancha. With the idea of continuing to progress in the informative aspect, from La Huerta de Pancha we wanted to get to know Juan Ávila, Technical Architect by training and, at present, CEO of our family business.

In a first contact, Juan tells us that, despite having studied Technical Architecture, he decided to enter the world of the countryside and take the reins of his business. Huerta de Panchaa family business that was established in the Axarquia region of Malaga by “Doña Pancha”, Juan’s grandmother and the seed of everything that is currently constituted as Huerta de Pancha.

Juan considers himself to be passionate about new technologies. This is why he decided to create the online shop La Huerta de Pancha, a pioneering project in the sector. In addition to looking after the company’s digital environment, Juan is in charge of organising and managing all the products grown in the garden, as well as the harvesting process and the preparation of shipments.

Tomatoes, avocados and mangos are the star products of La Huerta de Pancha. Juan tells us that onions, potatoes and other tropical fruits are also being grown with the idea of broadening the range of products.

For Juan, producing organic fruit and vegetables is essential to preserve the environment and the quality of a product whose main and direct recipient is the end consumer. Juan highlights as a differential value of La Huerta de Pancha the possibility of having both vegetables and tropical fruit in the same box.

The company’s CEO emphasises in particular that the online shop of La Huerta de Pancha started with the idea of marketing its products in regions of Spain, but the great international demand led to a redesign of the distribution strategy, focusing on many countries on the European continent.

Concluding the interview, Juan underlines the transparency of La Huerta de Pancha and reveals some of the pieces that will shape the future of the company, a future aimed at positioning itself as a tourist site, capable of offering guided tours and accommodation.
